Acting 1 – THE ACTOR : Section 2: The Actor & Movement
- Ages 8-12: Mondays, 5:00-6pm, $90/ 8 weeks
- Ages 13+: Mondays, 6:15-7:30pm, $102/8 weeks

This course, taught in 3 sections, is based on a collegiate level syllabus. The focus of Acting 1: The Actor & Movement is to assist students with physical expression, kinesthesiology, kinesthetic awareness, and the use of the physical element to create character.This class aims to teach specific expression within the use of the actor’s tools of the voice, body and mind.
Students will also develop important skills of observation, kinesthetic awareness, respect, problem solving, critical & creative thinking, language, reading comprehension, mental agility, and memory. Materials are tailored to student’s abilities, experience and maturity.
Students will perform in the Spotlight Showcase at the end of the session.
